On Friday, June 14, our 30th anniversary celebration took place in Stráž pod Ralskem. The event was called PRAKTIK fest and was dedicated to three decades of successful operations in the field of recycling and sustainability.
The celebrations started with a professional conference that attracted leading European and Czech experts in ecology and environmental protection, ESG and other interesting topics in the field. Speakers included representatives of the Ministry of the Environment, manufacturers of innovative technologies, representatives of collective systems, product manufacturers and other prominent personalities. The entire product life cycle was discussed, from design through production and use to recycling and reuse.
The afternoon session was open to the general public and took place at Horecký Pond. Visitors enjoyed a rich programme of music and entertainment, highlighted by performances by the bands Těla, Pokáč and No Name. An interesting twist was that everyone who brought a discarded electrical appliance received a voucher for a beer. The aim of the event was to raise awareness of the importance of recycling and to show that everyone can contribute to protecting the environment.
We greatly appreciate the active involvement and support of all partners, thanks to whom the event had an amazing response, especially thanks to the programme we prepared together for the visitors - recycling competitions, quizzes, workshops, demonstrations of recycling electrical appliances, waste sorting, the possibility of using recycled raw materials.
