Programme dealing with the collection, processing, and use of plastic parts from junk yards
Between 2013–-2015 with the support of ŠKODA AUTO a. s. and the Wrecked Car Recycling Association called Callparts, we began a successful project dealing with the processing and utilisation of used bumpers and car interior plastic parts. This approach allowed us to offer members a stable, economical and long-term solution for plastic component processing and helped them to reach the required material usability of 85% parts removed from wrecked cars. The collected plastic parts are forwarded to manufacturers who process plastic parts for the automotive industry. Since the onset of the project we have increased the processed volume and supplied the output material back to the automotive industry.
